Job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented stores operative to join our growing team at SAM NI. The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt of materials, issuing/kitting adequate materials in line with production requirements, and assisting with the smooth operation of the stores department using an ERP system. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience using computer systems/ERP.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Inspection/Receipt of goods in material/subcontracted parts to ensure quality standards are adequate.
  2. Goods receipt through ERP system.
  3. Goods issuing/kitting through ERP system.
  4. Maintaining accurate records of material and stock.
  5. Kitting of assembly components.
  6. Scanning of documents.
  7. Operate forklift truck and pallet truck adhering to health and safety regulations and requirements.
  8. Ensuring the proper handling, storage, and organisation of material within the stores.
  9. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  10. Assistance with stock management and regular company stock takes.

NB: The above list is not exhaustive. From time to time, the employee may be required to transfer to other departments to help with demand.

HOURS OF WORK:

07.00 – 16.00 (Mon – Thurs)

07.00 – 12.00 NOON (Friday)
