Job Title: Stores Operative

Location: Wednesbury Area

Salary: 13 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Engineering Stores Operative to join our team in the Wednesbury area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Mechanical Parts Ordering and Stock Control: Ensure all mechanical parts are ordered and stock levels are maintained.
• Goods Inwards and Outwards: Manage the receipt and dispatch of goods efficiently.
• Supplier Contact: Maintain regular communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
• Computerised Stock System: Perform data entry and manage the computerised stock system to keep accurate records.
• General Stores Duties: Assist with other general duties within the stores as required.

Qualifications/Training:

• Warehouse Operative Skills: Proven experience in warehouse operations.
• FLT Licence: Preferred but not essential.
• Experience: Previous experience working within an engineering stores role is highly desirable.
