Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provision of an efficient source of supply of laboratory consumables and protective clothing from a pre-determined inventory in a cost-effective manner.
• Efficient replenishment of all stores inventory stock.
• Oversight of efficient processing of all non-inventory orders received into stores.
• Management of AFBI stationery ordering.
• Efficient management of stores staff.
• Efficient management of suppliers and resolution of related issues.
• Efficient management of stores stock control system (Opera).
• Management of periodic and regular stock takes.
• Placing and processing of stores orders.
• Liaison with scientific staff.
• Management of stores-related AccountNI onboarding and implementation phases.

Required Qualifications and Experience

At least 3 years of practical experience working in a stores or stock control environment.
