Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Stores/Logistics Assistant for an onsite role in Stansted. The position blends warehouse operations, stock control, admin tasks and driving responsibilities, with a salary of 26,000–30,000 DOE and a Monday–Friday structure.

You will represent the business on the road, attending customer sites, exhibitions and events. Driving is essential, with visits typically 1–2 times per day, and there is full training and development potential in a supportive team.

The Opportunity

We’re working with a fantastic and growing business that’s looking for a Stores/ Logistics assistant to join their team. This is a varied, hands‑on role combining warehouse operations, stock control, administration and driving responsibilities.

You’ll play a key role in keeping the warehouse running smoothly while also representing the business out on the road, attending customer sites, exhibitions and events. Driving is an essential part of the role, with visits typically taking place 1‑2 times per day.

Key Duties

• Receiving and booking in deliveries


• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders


• Managing stock and carrying out stock checks


• Updating warehouse information on internal systems


• Completing deliveries to customer sites and exhibitions


• Supporting trade shows and event logistics


• Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient warehouse environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse, logistics or coordination experience


• Full UK driving licence (essential)


• Organised, reliable and proactive approach


• Strong attention to detail


• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude
