Job summary

Cameo Consultancy (Recruitment) Limited is seeking an experienced Stores & Goods Coordinator to join a busy team in Brackley. This hands-on role covers stores, dispatch and the yard, including loading/unloading with a forklift and stock control.

Salary up to £32,000 DOE; hours 9:00am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Immediate start available with training and clear progression opportunities in a practical, busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous stores, warehouse or yard experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred; counterbalance licence appreciated.
• Manual handling and hands-on work comfortable.
• Basic IT confidence to learn internal systems.
• Reliable with a good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries using a forklift.
• Pick, pack and prepare goods for dispatch.
• Book and coordinate courier collections.
• Measure, weigh and label goods.
• Prepare and check dispatch paperwork.
• Liaise with production to ensure goods are ready for collection.
• Stock organisation and pallet management.
• General housekeeping and maintaining a tidy, safe working environment.
• Support production and dispatch teams as needed.

Job description

A busy, long-established and growing business in Brackley is looking for an experienced, hands-on Stores & Good Coordinator to join the team.

This is a varied role working across stores, dispatch and the yard, supporting the smooth running of a fast-paced production environment and taking ownership of the day-to-day organisation of goods coming in and out of the business.

You’ll be involved in loading and unloading vehicles, preparing goods for dispatch, coordinating courier collections, stock organisation, palletising goods and keeping the stores and yard areas running efficiently and safely.

The role would suit someone practical, organised and proactive who enjoys being busy, can prioritise their own workload and takes pride in doing a job properly.

What we’re looking for

• Previous stores, warehouse, goods-in/out or yard experience
• Forklift Truck experience (Counterbalance preferred - expired licences considered)
• Comfortable with manual handling and hands-on work
• Basic IT confidence and the ability to learn internal systems
• Reliable with a good work ethic
• Able to work well within a team and use initiative
• Good attention to detail and organisation
• Comfortable prioritising work in a busy environment
• Experience using warehouse or stock systems would be helpful, although full training will be given on internal systems and processes
