Job summary

Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL) is seeking a Stores Coordinator to join our team in Aldershot. You will manage the day-to-day store operations, ensuring timely delivery of parts and equipment to maintenance teams while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong stock control skills and a proactive approach. We offer a competitive salary up to £33,500, 37.5 hours per week, and a comprehensive benefits package include pension and life cover.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English with good literacy and IT skills; full clean UK driving licence.
• Experience supervising in a similar role; strong inventory, warehousing and stock procurement procedures.
• Ability to work to targets and deadlines and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations and coordinate the store team for efficient service delivery.
• Ensure timely supply of parts, furniture, fittings, equipment and loan items to maintenance teams.
• Purchase, replenish and control stock in line with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate stock takes, vehicle stock checks, goods receipt and dispatch with accurate records.
• Manage controlled substances hazardous to health documentation, risk assessments and regulatory compliance.
• Lead communication between stores and maintenance teams, supervise staff, support training and promote safe working practices.
