Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Stores Coordinator at our Newbury, Berkshire manufacturing facility. The role supports a busy Production and Operations department by maintaining efficient Stores operations, inspecting incoming goods, and ensuring accurate stock control.

The successful candidate will have basic MS Word/Excel/Outlook skills and prior manufacturing experience is desirable. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential for timely despatches and

Responsibilities

• Assist in inspection of incoming goods and ensure PO criteria are met.
• Kit production route cards.
• Check goods received against delivery notes and POs, flag variations.
• Enter deliveries into goods receipt system and route to stores.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Quality when parts are incorrect.
• Ensure stock quantities match physical and computer records.
• Store goods according to Health & Safety and site requirements.
• Pick correct items forSales orders and despatch on time.
• Pack orders securely for safe customer delivery.
• Send all required paperwork with goods.

Job Description

At our Manufacturing facility in Newbury, Berkshire, the Teledyne Reynolds Engineering team design custom Interconnect Solutions to carry signals from High Voltage Power Supplies to some of the most advanced technologies on the planet, and even beyond. Our Engineering team and Production Operators have been directly involved in designing, building, and getting hand’s on with products that are now roaming the surface of Mars, orbiting the Sun and about to be launched to land on an asteroid.

We’re looking for a Stores Coordinator to support the running of an efficient Stores department, completing tasks in an efficient and timely manner, supporting a busy Production and Operations department.

Detailed Description:

• Assist in the inspection of incoming goods in accordance with the relevant inspection procedure ensuring parts meets the purchase order criteria.
• Kit production route cards.
• Check goods received against supplier’s delivery note and purchase orders informing the Stores Co-ordinator or Purchasing Department of any variations.
• Enter delivery into goods receipt computer record, passing paperwork to relevant department and deliver goods to appropriate stores location.
• In the case of incorrectly supplied parts, liaise with the Purchasing and Quality teams.
• Ensure physical and computer recorded stock quantities are the same.
• Ensure goods are stored in accordance with Health and Safety, suppliers, and site requirements.
• Select correct items to the pick list to fulfil delivery notes raised by Sales in a timely manner.
• Pack orders to be despatched in an appropriate manner to ensure safe arrival at our customers.
• Ensure that all appropriate documentation is sent with the goods.
• Ensure stores and goods in areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Prepare wire and cable in line with Production requirements
• Test and final inspection of goods prior to despatch

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
• Basic understanding Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
