Job Title: Stores Coordinator

Duration: 6 Month contract - Possibility of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 4:00 pm

Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual looking for a new opportunity as a Stores Coordinator? Our client, an established organization in the logistics industry, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team. As a Stores Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accept incoming goods and verify them against shipping documents for material numbers, descriptions, and quantities.
2. Inspect incoming goods for visible damage and document any findings.
3. Operate transport equipment such as hand-guided industrial trucks and forklifts safely and correctly.
4. Record relevant data into data processing systems to maintain accurate records.
5. Organize the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods, updating relevant systems accordingly.
6. Perform regular stock maintenance and inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.
7. Assemble deliveries from storage and review for completeness and accuracy.
8. Package deliveries according to shipping instructions and dispatch guidelines.
9. Attach necessary shipping documents to outgoing goods.
10. Manage internal and external transports using appropriate transportation means.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a similar logistics role is highly desirable.
