We are looking for two Stores Assistants to join our Engineering team and support the efficient operation of our stores function at Beckton Depot. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the correct control, storage and issuing of materials required to maintain the DLR network safely and effectively.
As a Stores Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the stores operation, ensuring materials and components are accurately received, stored, recorded and issued to support maintenance activities across the DLR network. You will work closely with the Stores Supervisor to maintain stock accuracy, support inventory control processes and contribute to a strong safety culture within a safety-critical railway environment.
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent attention to detail, good organisational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, service and operational performance.
