Job summary

Source 4 is seeking a Stores, Driver & Logistics Operations Assistant in Colnbrook, Berkshire. The role involves receiving, storing and managing stock, plus delivering goods using company vehicles. You will help maintain safe, compliant stores and deliver excellent customer service.

Salary is 27k–28k per annum (DOE). Hours are Mon-Thu 7:30–16:30, Fri 7:30–16:00 with overtime potential. A Full UK driving licence is required, forklift licence preferred and some heavy lifting is involved.

Qualifications

• Full clean UK driving licence (min. 2 years).
• Forklift licence preferred.
• Physically fit with ability to handle manual work.
• Good communication, organisation and customer-service skills.
• IT literacy and ability to use admin systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, label, and store deliveries.
• Prepare orders, load/unload vehicles, maintain stock locations.
• Deliver and collect goods in company vehicles.
• Support airside/landside operations at Heathrow (where cleared).
• Keep warehouse and site areas clean, tidy and compliant.
• Operate forklift trucks (if licensed).
• Complete daily vehicle/MHE checks and report defects.
• Manage customer stock, paperwork, portals, returns and repairs.
• Maintain Sage Goods In entries and general admin tasks.
• Participate in stock checks and COSHH compliance.

Job Title: Stores, Driver & Logistics Operations Assistant

Location: Colnbrook, Berkshire
Reports To: Branch Manager
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7.30am -4.30pm Friday 7.30am 4.00pm + Overtime
Salary: 27k - 28k per annum DOE

Role Purpose

Support warehouse operations by receiving, storing, and managing stock, while completing collections and deliveries using company vehicles. Maintain safe, compliant, and well-organised stores and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check, label, and store deliveries (including heavy lifting).
• Prepare orders, load/unload vehicles, and maintain accurate stock locations.
• Deliver and collect goods in company vehicles (cars, vans, Luton, flatbed).
• Support airside/landside operations at Heathrow (subject to clearance).
• Keep warehouse and site areas clean, tidy, and compliant.
• Operate forklift trucks (if licensed).
• Complete daily vehicle/MHE checks and report defects.
• Manage customer stock (PPE/uniform), paperwork, portals, returns, and repairs.
• Maintain Sage Goods In entries and general admin tasks.
• Participate in stock checks and maintain COSHH compliance

Skills & Experience

• Good communication, organisation, and customer-service skills.
• Full clean UK driving licence (min. 2 years).
• Forklift licence preferred.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Able to multitask, prioritise, and work to deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and IT skills.
