Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Leader in Lennoxtown to guide a small team in a fast-paced store. You will oversee day-to-day operations, work on the shop floor and tills, and help deliver essential services to the community while promoting Co-op membership.

The role offers part-time hours (25 hours per week) with regular overtime, early mornings, afternoons and at least one weekend shift. A permanent contract with opportunities for development is provided.

Qualifications

• Passion for people and leadership.
• Ability to work flexibly and lead by example.
• Experience in retail, merchandising, or team management (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
• Hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting pace for a team of Customer Team Members
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth
