Job summary

Co-op Group in Rochester is seeking a Customer Team Leader to run a store shift and lead a small team, delivering essential local services including post office or bakery where applicable. You’ll help customers, keep shelves stocked, and champion Co-op membership.

You’ll also drive merchandising, stock accuracy and daily operations while building community links and supporting online services. Part-time, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or leading small teams.
• Ability to coach and motivate a team to deliver great service.
• Flexible approach to shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth.
