Job summary

Farmfoods is recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for our Rotherham shop in South Yorkshire. The permanent full-time role is 43 hours across 5 days per week, usually including at least one weekend shift. Salary ranges from £31,449.60 to £35,306.88 per annum with a 43-hour contract.

Qualifications

• Some experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor.
• Friendly, positive and hardworking approach to work.
• Must complete Basic DBS (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check if hired.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide great service.
• Develop your team of retail assistants through coaching and feedback.
• Be accountable for the shop in the absence of the shop manager and ensure safety, cleanliness and efficient routines.
• Motivate and guide your team to control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
• Support recruitment and induction of new team members.
