Job summary

C J Lang & Son Ltd, a SPAR Scotland wholesaler with head office in Dundee, invites a Supervisor to join SPAR Conon Bridge. You will help run the store with the Store Manager, ensuring great customer service, smooth shift coverage and accurate till handling.

The role requires supervising the team, merchandising to planograms, promoting offers and maintaining store standards in line with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing retail experience is essential.
• Ability to supervise and delegate tasks on shift.
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to meet customer needs across store areas.
• Responsible for opening and closing the store.
• Attend call outs if the store alarm is activated outside trading hours.
• Supervise and support team members on shift and allocate tasks.
• Cash up and balance tills in line with cash procedures.
• Promote the company image through professional behaviour and presentation.
• Merchandise store according to standards and planograms.
• Take opportunities to promote offers and upsell to customers.
• Process all sales transactions accurately and in line with procedures.
• Adhere to security measures to protect staff and stock.
• Use systems for price checks, SEL and stock control.
• Deputise for Store Manager in their absence and follow all procedures.
• Complete training requirements and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
