Job summary

C J Lang & Son Ltd, SPAR Dalrymple, is seeking a Supervisorto join our team to help manage daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will work with the Store Manager to run the store, supervise staff, balance tills, and promote offers while maintaining store standards.

The role involves opening/closing, handling cash, and deputising for the Store Manager when required. 15 hours per week in a local SPAR store in Dalrymple.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a retail team or shift-based staff.
• Strong customer service and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to meet customer needs across the store.
• Open and close the store and attend to alarms outside trading hours.
• Supervise and support team members on shift and allocate tasks to ensure duties are completed.
• Cash up and balance tills in line with company cash procedures.
• Promote the image and brand of the company through professional behaviour and presentation.
• Process all sales transactions accurately and in line with company procedures.
• Follow current company procedures and security measures to protect colleagues and stock.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the store at all times.
• Deputise for the Store Manager in their absence and complete training requirements.
