Job summary

Frontier Agriculture in Ruddington is seeking a Store Supervisor to manage the Crop Protection Store on a permanent, full-time basis. You will lead day-to-day store operations, ensure safety, quality and customer service, and work with drivers to plan deliveries in a way that supports seasonal demands.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience of stock and warehouse management systems.
  • ADR & BASIS desirable (can be provided for the right candidate).
  • IOSH desirable (can be provided for the right candidate).

Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering a range of agricultural products to farm (manual handling will be required).
  • Working with drivers to plan delivery routes.
  • Communicating regularly with stakeholders to ensure delivery.
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service whilst being the face of the company.
  • A strong focus on Health and Safety including responsibility for daily & weekly checks.
  • Assisting in all site operational areas outside of peak times.
  • Carrying out weekly and quarterly stock takes ensuring any discrepancies are investigated and resolved in an efficient manner.
  • Communicating with other stakeholders across the business in order to maintain stock levels and deliver complete customer satisfaction.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the team.

Job description

We are looking for a Store Supervisor to join the Frontier team, based at Ruddington on a permanent, full-time basis.

You will be required to supervise the day-to-day activities of the Crop Protection Store; assisting in the delivery of high standards of safety, quality and operations whilst being a part of a team that operates with integrity and accountability while delivering the highest standard of customer service.

About You
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally at all levels with key customers & local authorities
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining Frontier’s ICE values
  • Adapts quickly and successfully to accommodate changing business and customer needs, whilst providing a responsive customer focussed service
  • Works to accommodate the seasonal nature of Frontier’s business
  • Adopts a customer focussedmindset while ensuring that compliance is maintained at all times and, where relevant, all internal procedures are always adhered to
  • The ability to work collaboratively with others and to work without supervision
