Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee daily store operations, lead the team, and deliver a great customer experience across departments. You will coordinate workflows, mentor colleagues, and ensure standards are met in a fast-paced retail environment.

As the go-to person in the manager's absence, you will help with scheduling, coaching, and maintaining a friendly, inclusive team culture while upholding Tesco's service commitments and store policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met.
• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
