Job summary

Manor Royal Business District in Crawley is seeking a Stores Operative to join our growing warehouse team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for picking and packing parts, despatching packages, goods in checks and operating a counterbalance forklift.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience including goods in, a full UK driving licence, reliability and organisation. The role offers a 08:00–17:00, Mon-Fri schedule with free onsite parking and a salary of £25,000–£28,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience including picking, packing and goods in.
• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Reliable, conscientious and organised to complete tasks.
• Must have rights to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Our established and friendly Crawley based supply chain business is growing and is now seeking aStores Operativeto join us on a permanent basis!

Main responsibilities of the Stores Operative:

• Picking and packing parts
• Despatching packages
• Booking goods in, checking for accuracy of goods & paperwork received
• Driving a Counterbalance forklift
• Occasional delivery of goods to local destinations in company vehicle

Ideal Candidate profile:

Essential

• Previous warehouse experience including picking, packing & Goods In
• Full UK driving license
• Reliable, conscientious, organised and enjoys seeing tasks through to completion
• Must already hold unrestricted rights to live and work in the UK. No sponsorships can be provided, now or in the future.

Beneficial

• Previous experience of working with aviation components and dealing with part numbers
• Counterbalance license
