PPG Industries is seeking a Store Manager for the Nottingham Johnstone's Decorating Centre. This permanent, full-time role focuses on leading daily store operations, serving customers at the trade counter, and promoting our products.

You will ensure the store stays well-presented, manage stock deliveries, and support a strong customer experience. The role emphasizes customer focus, team leadership, and effective use of IT systems, with in-store training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing environment and good IT systems understanding are desirable but not essential; in-store training will be provided.
• Previous management or supervisory experience is desirable.
• Strong communication skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Flexibility with working hours and duties; driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring customers and staff have everything they need.
• Serve customers on the trade counter and in-store in a friendly and professional manner.
• Undertake training to confidently select the correct product for customers’ needs and promote the brand.
• Ensure the store looks well-presented and clean at all times.
• Follow stock management procedures by receiving deliveries and keeping shelves full.
