Asda is seeking an Operations Manager to drive store performance across Ambient and Fresh departments in a large-format format. You will lead with a coaching style, embed routines, and focus on availability, waste and shrink to improve KPIs.

You will manage and develop store teams, ensuring high standards and a customer-first approach, while aligning with wage controls and contract base management. This role centres on leadership and results.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced, large-format retail environment.
• Strong operational knowledge across food and non-food departments.
• Proven ability to improve availability, reduce waste, and manage shrink.
• HR policy awareness and experience handling ER cases.
• Excellent organizational skills and customer service focus.

Responsabilités

• Deliver excellent execution across the store and enhance availability, waste and shrink metrics.
• Lead and coach managers and teams to maintain store standards.
• Embed processes across Ambient and Fresh, plus George and GM in large format stores.
• Lead with heart, develop talent, and motivate staff.
