Job summary

Morrisons is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team in the UK. You will be responsible for the end-to-end store operations, deputising for the Store Manager, and ensuring high standards, safety, and legal compliance. You will mentor managers, develop talent, and drive performance across all departments.

You will focus on improving customer experience, achieving KPIs, and developing local ideas to exceed targets while working closely with central teams to share insights and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in the retail industry.
• Experience managing a large customer-facing, high turnover operation (£150k+ weekly turnover).
• Ability to lead diverse teams and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for end-to-end store operations with resources to meet high standards.
• Mentor and develop talent across the store and wider region.
• Build capability of management through accountability and development plans.
• Embed a culture of embracing change with People Managers.
• Ensure safety and legal compliance across all departments.
• Support forward-looking action plans to increase performance.
• Contribute to the annual store plan with a commercial mindset.
