Job summary

Gibbs Oil Company is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Colchester convenience store. The role works closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, excellent customer service and a well-maintained store environment.

You will oversee cash handling, inventory and staff supervision while helping implement promotions to drive sales and maintain store standards. This full-time position requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team motivation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage inventory and cash handling.
• Shift flexibility, including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, including cash management and inventory control.
