Job summary

Lidl Northern Ireland GmbH is seeking a Store Manager to lead the shop floor and head office collaboration, delivering an outstanding customer journey. You will steer the team to achieve results, uphold Lidl's standards, and drive cost controls with a focus on customer satisfaction.

With minimum 2 years in management, you will recruit, coach and develop staff, schedule to deadlines, and ensure stock rotation and compliance with company procedures, including store presentation and merchandising

Qualifications

• A Levels or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years management experience.
• Confident and persuasive communication skills.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Adaptability to new situations.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage, recruit, and develop the best possible talent to ensure the long-term success of the business
• Guarantee customer satisfaction by always aiming to exceed customer expectations and safeguarding customer service standards in your store
• Monitor and control staff costs, store productivity, inventory differences, write-offs and operational costs
• Apply and control the company principles of ‘Store Cleanliness’, ‘Customer Friendliness’ and ‘Minimal Queues at Tills’
• Monitor and ensure proper rotation of stock, freshness control and C-Date checks
• Adhere to all company procedures and commercial standards, i.e. reaching agreed store standards, presentation of merchandise, and the merchandising plan.

• £43,000 rising to £56,000 after 3 years
