Job summary

Lidl Northern Ireland GmbH is seeking a proactive Assistant Store Manager in Newry to support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations, drive KPI performance and maintain an exemplary customer experience on the shop floor. You will lead and develop the store team, ensure stock levels, maintain presentation, and oversee shifts.

A Levels and at least two years’ management experience are expected; a driving licence is required.

• A Levels or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Full driving licence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shift patterns.

What you'll do

What you'll need

• To have completed your A Levels or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years management experience in a fast-paced environment
• Full driving licence
• A passion for working in a fast-paced, varied environment, hitting targets and meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The flexibility to work varying shift patterns
• Preferably, previous experience working as an Assistant Store Manager, but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude
