Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Store Manager to run a store with entrepreneurial spirit, prioritising customers, colleagues and local communities. You will lead a team to deliver outstanding customer service and strong commercial performance, treating the store as your own business.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will recruit, induct and develop people, build an inclusive culture and foster community relationships. The role requires flexibility, including early mornings, late nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in fast paced, service-focused environments such as retail, convenience or hospitality.
• Passion for spotting and developing talent.
• Ability to coach, motivate and inspire teams.
• Ability to influence, listen and understand different perspectives.
• Resilience and ability to handle problems and workloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to deliver the best customer experience, aligning with the Morrisons brand.
• Own recruitment, induction, training and development to build an inclusive culture.
• Drive store performance and treat the store as your own business, seeking improvements.
• Build and manage relationships with customers and the local community.
• Collaborate with Area Manager to meet store objectives.
