Job summary

Morrisons is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a large team and deliver a welcoming shopping experience. You will own store performance, coach up to 350 colleagues, and ensure the core supermarket offer is competitive.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will set culture, lead from the front on the shop floor, develop talent, drive sales, and build strong links with the local community.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a large, fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong coaching and feedback skills to develop frontline teams.
• Excellent understanding of store operations and customer service standards.
• Ability to analyse store performance data to drive commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set the culture: create an inclusive, high-performing environment where colleagues feel supported, valued, and listened to.
• Lead from the front: spend time on the shop floor, coach your team, uphold standards, and showcase our Market Street credentials.
• Develop future talent: coach and mentor the management team to become future leaders of the business.
• Drive sales and standards: keep the store safe, legal, and well-stocked while using data to identify opportunities and manage costs.
• Connect with the community: partner with the local area to empower Community Champions and tailor the store to local needs.
