Welcome to Home Bargains. We are seeking a Store Manager Designate for the Greater Manchester area to lead a team, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer service. This role oversees 44 hours per week across five days in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will develop people, manage store operations, and implement promotional activities while upholding our high standards of service and profitability. A clear path for progression and extensive benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop My People – mentor and motivate your team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.
• Deliver for Customers – uphold our service standards and priorities to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Grow My Business – drive sales, optimize store layouts and ensure promotions are executed flawlessly.
• Experience of managing a retail team in a fast-moving retail environment to achieve a high weekly sales target.
• Competencies: prioritise and organise work, customer focus, communicate and motivate others, manage and lead teams, make commercially astute decisions, rapid problem solving, develop talent.
