Purpose of the role:

We seek a self-driven, detail-oriented, reliable, energetic, approachable individual with extensive knowledge of fashion and seasonal trends, and leadership skills in engaging and styling clients.

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing store targets, retail excellence, motivating your team to deliver personalized customer service, and ensuring compliance with Jimmy Fairly standards.

You will foster a creative store environment that promotes employee development.

The Role:

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Being a great brand ambassador and embracing the brand Selling Ceremony.
  • Developing your team to provide excellent in-store customer experiences, utilizing optometrists’ recommendations for optimal product solutions.
  • Building customer loyalty and managing customer relationships.

Commercial Leadership:

  • Leading your team through training and coaching to exceed store objectives and KPIs.
  • Monitoring store targets and individual sales KPIs.
  • Recording shop floor activity and providing regular updates to the Head of Retail.
  • Analyzing store performance and identifying new methods to increase turnover and KPIs.
  • Being present on the shop floor to address customer needs.
  • Communicating effectively and knowledgeably about the collection and brand.

Operations:

  • Proficient in operating till systems, handling payments, and preventing fraud.
  • Following company policies and procedures.
  • Creating staff rotas aligned with local needs and team availability.
  • Adjusting staffing levels based on business needs.
  • Managing staff holidays to ensure adequate shop floor coverage.
  • Proactive in learning new operational processes.
  • Managing loss prevention, inventories, and communicating discrepancies.
  • Ensuring health & safety guidelines are followed.
  • Handling administrative tasks like banking, cash handling, and refunds.
  • Managing stock, deliveries, replenishment, and visual merchandising standards.

Optics:

  • Using latest equipment like Smart Mirror 4 and iPads for customer assistance.
  • Handling eyewear orders, verifications, adjustments, and collections.

Human Resources:

  • Training and developing your team with growth plans.
  • Identifying potential leaders and supporting their development.
  • Motivating and recognizing team achievements.
  • Conducting staff reviews and managing probation periods.

Required knowledge, skills, and qualities:

  • Willingness to learn and develop yourself and others.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Supervisor or team leader.
  • Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • High motivation and enthusiasm for our brand.
  • Interest in fashion and retail trends.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Understanding of business KPIs and development strategies.
  • Positive attitude and team motivation skills.
  • Sense of responsibility and prioritization.
  • Experience in the optical industry is a plus.
