Job summary

The Celtic Football Club is seeking a Store Manager for the Livingston store. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will oversee daily operations, drive sales, and maintain high housekeeping and stock control standards to maximise profitability.

You will lead and develop store staff, manage the wage budget, ensure compliance with health and safety, and coordinate with the Area Manager on key issues, including match-day activities.

• Experience working within a Retail environment in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure efficient running of the Livingston store.
• Contribute to profitable operation and maximise sales through excellent customer service.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and ensure stock accuracy and control of goods.
• Plan and manage the store wage budget and control variable costs.
• Ensure security of all merchandise and minimise shrinkage through procedures.
• Merchandise displays to high standards and rotate stock to reflect current sales.
• Ensure stock lines are available on the sales floor in all sizes and locations.
• Lead staff development, training and motivation; liaise with Area Manager as required.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and fire regulations.

Job description

Celtic Football Club is currently seeking a Store Manager to work within the Livingston store. Reporting to the Area Manager, this role is responsible for the efficient running of the Livingston store retail unit, in line with the requirements of the organisation.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for the day to day running of the store
• Contributes to the profitable operation of the store
• Ensures that high housekeeping standards are instituted and maintained
• Ensures the planning and management of the store wage budget
• Ensures strict control of all company monies, stock and relevant documentation
• Ensures the control of all variable costs within the store
• Maintain accurate control of all incoming and outgoing goods
• Ensures the security of all merchandise and that any shrinkage is kept to a minimum
• Ensures all displays are merchandised to a high standard, are rotated in line with current sales stock
• Ensure all stock lines are on the sales floor and are available in all sizes
• Maximise the profitability of the unit through good customer service and increased sales
• Ensure the on-going training, development and motivation of staff within the store
• Liaise with the Area Manager as required
• Ensures compliance with all Health and Safety legislation and Fire regulations
• Undertakes other such duties which arise with familiarity and development of the job
