Job summary

Restaurant Associates UK is currently recruiting a dedicated Store Manager to oversee operations in London on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As Store Manager, you will ensure adherence to health and safety procedures, oversee stock control and deliveries, and lead a team to deliver

Responsibilities

• Ensure awareness of and compliance with all health & safety procedures and standards.
• Complete and update Food Safety and Health & Safety paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, storerooms, fridges and nearby areas; report hazards.
• Ensure proper storage, control and use of all machinery, cleaning materials and chemicals.
• Control, issue and receipt of all food deliveries.
• Process orders via nominated systems and use approved Compass vendors.
• Check invoices and delivery notes and report anomalies to line manager.
• Supervise receipt, storage and quality of food supply; report concerns to line manager.
• Unload deliveries; rotate stock.
• Load cages and push wheeled trolleys and cages to allocate stock to storerooms.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Ensure you are aware of & comply with all client & company health & safety procedures and standards at all times
• Complete, maintain and update all Food Safety and Health & Safety paperwork correctly when required
• Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchens, storerooms, fridges, and surrounding working areas ensuring Health and Safety hazards, issues, near misses, and accidents are reported using the appropriate reporting procedures at the earliest opportunity
• Ensure the correct storage, control and use of all machinery and equipment, cleaning materials and relevant chemicals
• Responsible for the control, issue and receipt of all food deliveries
• Process orders via nominated systems and use the correct approved Compass vendors
• Check invoices and delivery notes and report any anomalies to your line manager
• Supervise the receipt, correct storage, and quality of food supply and report any concerns or observations to your line manager
• Unloading deliveries, and rotating the stock
• Loading cages and pushing wheeled trolleys and cages to allocate the stock to various storerooms
