Job summary

Restaurant Associates UK is seeking a dedicated Logistics Manager to help ensure the smooth running of operations on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Porter, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of customer care and cleanliness, with opportunities to progress within the company that values individuals and rewards exceptional service.

The role involves coordinating front-of-house logistics, supporting housekeeping and banqueting teams, and ensuring safety

Responsibilities

• Maintain lobby and public areas to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Assist housekeeping, restaurant and banqueting staff with setup and moving equipment.
• Handle reception duties such as booking tickets or restaurant reservations.
• Respond to customer requests and queries in a timely manner.
• Run errands as required.
• Place and remove wet floor or safety signage to ensure customer safety.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Assisting in keeping the lobby and other public areas clean and tidy
• Helping housekeeping, restaurant and banqueting staff to set up rooms or move furniture
• Handling certain reception duties, such as booking theatre tickets or making restaurant reservations
• Responding to customer requests where required
• Running errands
• Ensuring the safety of customers by, for instance, placing and removing signage that indicates wet floors or paints
