Compass Group UK in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Store Manager to lead daily operations and a high‑performing team. The role is full‑time (40 hours per week) with a salary of £38,000 per annum, offering opportunities for progression within a large, people‑centred organisation.

The Store Manager will uphold brand standards, ensure health and safety compliance, manage stock and merchandising, and drive commercial performance through planning and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and develop a high‑performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold brand standards.
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring the shop floor and service areas run smoothly and efficiently.
• Maintain rigorous compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and well‑presented environment at all times.
• Manage stock levels, product availability, and merchandising standards to maximise sales and minimise waste.
• Drive commercial performance through effective planning, accurate forecasting, and strong cost control.
• Ensure customers receive an outstanding shopping experience by responding to feedback, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining excellent service levels.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with values, focusing on operational efficiency, colleague engagement, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with central teams to deliver seasonal campaigns, promotional activity, and new product launches effectively.
• Support colleague training and development, ensuring all team members are confident, capable, and aligned with service expectations

• Salary: £38,000 per annum
• Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Store Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operations on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.
