Muffin Break is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our café team in the United Kingdom. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure outstanding service and product quality, and drive business results.

A confident leader who motivates staff and maintains a welcoming store culture will excel in this role. In this fast-paced environment you will manage rosters, training, and performance, uphold food safety and WHS standards, and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Muffin Break is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Store Manager to lead our café team.

About the Role

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, leading and supporting the team, maintaining high service and product standards, and ensuring an outstanding experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing café team


• Manage the daily operations of the store efficiently and professionally


• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong customer relationships


• Ensure coffee, food, and products consistently meet Muffin Break quality standards


• Manage staff rosters, attendance, training, and performance


• Monitor sales, costs, stock levels, wastage, and overall store performance


• Manage ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships


• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety, and company policies


• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming, and well-presented store


• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally


• Drive sales, achieve targets, and identify opportunities to grow the business


• Lead by example and create a positive and supportive team culture

About You

• Previous experience in café, hospitality, retail, or store management


• Strong leadership and people-management skills


• Excellent customer service and communication skills


• A positive, energetic, and professional attitude


• Strong organisational and time-management skills


• The ability to work confidently in a busy, fast-paced environment


• Good understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety


• Strong commercial awareness and a focus on achieving results


• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required

£14.20 per hour which includes a 40p per hour band increment.
