Job summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking a Design Coordinator to support the Store Environment Designer, Concept and Display Teams in creating conceptual renderings, floor plans and managing the archival system for in-store and brand enhancement projects. The role reports to the Senior Manager – Creative Store Environment, with a dotted line to the Store Environment Designer for day‑to‑day workflow.

Qualifications

• Proficient with design and media software including Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• MS Office (Excel) proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Seasonal Plans – support in producing window and interior elevations and floor plans for seasonal prototypes and directives.
• Seasonal Display Inspiration – assist in concept meetings and organise visual resources for seasonal concepts.
• New Store Opening Plans – generate floor plans, elevations and renderings for new stores and presentation packs.
• Materials and Resources – maintain library of materials and resources for store environments and openings.
• Special Projects – support in-store and home office setup projects including global expansion initiatives.
• Interdepartmental Partnerships – act as a point of contact for design information with Creative, Marketing, Operations and Store Design teams.
• File Administration – organize and archive store plans and visual assets for New Stores and Seasonal Sets.
