Job summary

Tesco PLC in Watford is seeking colleagues to deliver friendly, natural service in our stores. You will help customers, know products, and support store operations across shelf replenishment, checkout, online order picking, and occasional delivery assistance.

Roles offer flexible hours from 12 to 16+ hours per week with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours, holiday entitlement starting at 20 days plus a personal day, rising to 22, and discounts and wellbeing benefits.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
• To work well in a team and communicate openly,having fun, and celebrating success.
