Job summary

Tesco Colleagues are at the heart of our stores, delivering friendly, natural service and helping customers with their shopping. In this role you’ll work across the store, from shelf replenishment to checkout service and online order picking, while supporting great service and store performance.

Starting pay is £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores, with a minimum of 16 hours per week and flexible shift scheduling.

Qualifications

• To be over 18 for this role.
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
