Job summary

JD Sports is seeking a Store Colleague to help deliver an outstanding customer experience on the shop floor in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet customers, assist with product information, replenish stock, and maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising.

The role involves processing transactions, handling cash, and supporting daily store operations while working closely with teammates to meet sales targets and deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.
  • Responsible for achieving team sales objectives by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and promoting complementary items.
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays, and stock areas are clean, organised, and well maintained.
  • Replenish stock and ensure products are available and correctly displayed in line with company standards.
  • Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, cash handling, stock processing, and preparing deliveries.
  • Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
  • Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required.
