Job summary

JD Sports in the United Kingdom is seeking a Store Colleague to deliver outstanding experiences on the shop floor, greet customers confidently, maintain displays, replenish stock, and support daily store operations.

You will collaborate with colleagues to meet sales targets, provide product information, process transactions, and follow health and safety policies, using in-store technology to assist customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment is desirable.
• Ability to adapt approach and communication style to different customers.
• Willingness to learn company processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.
• Responsible for achieving team sales objectives by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and promoting complementary items.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays, and stock areas are clean, organised, and well maintained.
• Replenish stock and ensure products are available and correctly displayed in line with company standards.
• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, cash handling, stock processing, and preparing deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
