Job summary

Harrods in Knightsbridge is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Team Leader to supervise daily operations across our store and linked buildings, ensuring a safe, clean environment for customers and colleagues. You will lead a small team, run briefings, monitor tasks, train staff on cleaning protocols and health & safety, and liaise with store management to align cleaning with brand standards.

Qualifications

Experience leading a team in a retail or commercial setting.
Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and health & safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and use initiative to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Run daily team briefings to assign daily cleaning duties and monitor completion.
Conduct regular inspections of the store to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
Train and support new and existing team members on cleaning protocols, health & safety, and store-specific requirements.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to colleagues to ensure standards are maintained on a continued basis.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Handle stock control of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
