Job summary

Cancer Research UK in Belfast Cityside is seeking a motivated Store Assistant to join the trading team. You will be an ambassador for the charity, helping customers, supporting fundraising and upholding our values in every interaction.

Working 30 hours per week on a part-time basis, you’ll contribute to sales targets, help maintain shop standards, and may take keyholder responsibilities. A competitive hourly rate and benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy customer service environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and supporter service.
• Work as an integral part of the shop team to achieve ambitious sales and fundraising targets.
• Assisting with maintaining shop standards including visual presentation, safeguarding compliance and health and safety.
• Creating relationships with your local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
• Supporting fundraising events for your store to achieve fundraising targets.
• Taking keyholder responsibility as required (training provided).
