Job summary

Søstrene Grene is hiring Store Assistants at our Barnstaple location. Positions are part-time with 8 or 12 hours per week, requiring availability for evenings and weekends on a monthly rota.

You will join a team that creates a welcoming experience for customers and supports the store in maintaining attractive displays and stock levels. Ideal candidates are friendly, proactive and prepared to learn our product range, from home decor to household goods.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Comfortable with lifting and merchandising tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and assist with the cash register.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards on the shop floor and behind the scenes.
• Help unpack deliveries and stock shelves.
• Assist in creating in-store displays and handwritten signs in line with brand style.
• Support sales targets by staying informed about products and promotions.
• Represent Søstrene Grene's values and greet customers with a friendly demeanor.
• Adhere to health, hygiene and safety standards during shifts.
