Job summary

Toolstation Limited in Eastleigh is seeking a Store Apprentice for 20 hours per week. You’ll learn on the job, gaining hands-on experience in customer service, product knowledge, merchandising and safety procedures while you earn as you learn.

You’ll engage with customers, stock shelves, handle deliveries and support store operations, with coursework supported by your Store Manager and an apprenticeship coach.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required; willingness to learn.
• Ability to engage with customers and understand needs.
• Reliable and flexible with varying shifts.
• Eagerness to work early mornings or late finishes.

What you'll do

Store Apprentice in Eastleigh

20 hours per week

We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store. Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes. We are unable to accept those already in any other form of Government paid education.

• Engage with customers: Understand their needs and provide excellent service through genuine conversations.
• Get involved in store operations: Handle deliveries, stock shelves, and assist with warehouse tasks – be prepared to roll up your sleeves! There's a real family feel here and we all pitch in as part of a close-knit team. And since there's always loads of support from those around you, you'll never feel like you're struggling.
• Keep things running smoothly: Maintain a clean and well-organised store, ensuring everything is ready for our customers and safe for our colleagues.
• Learn while working: Set aside time each week to complete coursework, supported by your Store Manager and a dedicated apprenticeship coach.
