Job summary

Toolstation in Eastleigh is hiring a Store Apprentice for 20 hours a week. You’ll learn on the job while supporting customers and store operations.

You'll gain hands-on experience in customer service, merchandising, and safety procedures, with coursework weekly and guidance from your Store Manager and apprenticeship coach, in a welcoming, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• No retail experience required; willingness to learn.
• Must be able to commute to Eastleigh store.
• Live locally to easily commute.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand needs and provide service.
• Assist with stock, deliveries and shelf replenishment.
• Learn store operations and coursework with apprenticeship coach.
• Support with opening and closing where needed.

Get involved in store operations: Handle deliveries, stock shelves, and assist with warehouse tasks – be prepared to roll up your sleeves! There's a real family feel here and we all pitch in as part of a close‑knit team. And since there's always loads of support from those around you, you'll never feel like you're struggling.


Keep things running smoothly: Maintain a clean and well‑organised store, ensuring everything is ready for our customers and safe for our colleagues.


Learn while working: Set aside time each week to complete coursework, supported by your Store Manager and a dedicated apprenticeship coach
