Job summary

Toolstation Lincoln is excited to offer a Store Apprentice role to join a fast-growing retailer. This 20 hours per week position requires local applicants who can handle early starts and late finishes in a busy store environment.

You will gain hands-on experience in customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, and business operations while completing coursework with support from your Store Manager and apprenticeship coach.

Qualifications

• No retail experience required, just a willingness to learn.
• Able to commute to the store and work variable hours.
• Positive attitude, reliability and flexibility are valued.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and understand their needs to provide excellent service.
• Assist with store operations: deliveries, stock shelves and warehouse tasks.
• Keep the store clean, well-organised and safe for customers and colleagues.

What you'll do

Store Apprentice in Lincoln

20 hours per week

We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store.
Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.

• Engage with customers: Understand their needs and provide excellent service through genuine conversations.
• Get involved in store operations: Handle deliveries, stock shelves, and assist with warehouse tasks – be prepared to roll up your sleeves! There's a real family feel here and we all pitch in as part of a close-knit team. And since there's always loads of support from those around you, you'll never feel like you're struggling.
• Keep things running smoothly: Maintain a clean and well‑organised store, ensuring everything is ready for our customers and safe for our colleagues.
• Learn while working: Set aside time each week to complete coursework, supported by your Store Manager and a dedicated apprenticeship coach.
