Job summary

Visa’s Technology Organization seeks an experienced Storage Operations engineer to join the global team responsible for storage and backup infrastructure, including SAN and NAS, across Open Systems. You will support, certify, and document storage environments while collaborating with cross-functional groups to ensure reliability and performance.

The role emphasizes automation, SRE practices, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field preferred.
Associate level role with 0.5–3.5 years of commercial experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain ongoing storage and SAN infrastructure per business requirements and security standards.
Automate infrastructure tasks using SRE principles and infrastructure as code.
Handle complex provisioning, data replication, DR, data migration, and documentation for storage and backup environments.
Provide Level 2 escalation support for infrastructure and collaborate with Systems, Database, Engineering and other teams.
Participate in on-call rotations and be ready to work shift days (Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat, 9:00–18:00).
