Job summary

schuh is hiring a Stockroom Assistant for our Oxford store. You’ll process deliveries, keep the stockroom organized and support click-and-collect orders while delivering excellent customer service.

Great training is provided and previous experience isn’t essential. Flexible working hours and competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn stockroom procedures.
• Good team player with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Process deliveries and ensure new products are available for customers.
• Maintain the stockroom to the highest standards.
• Dispatch customer orders from store and manage click-and-collect.
• Aim to meet KPIs and personal targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service and share in-depth product knowledge.
• Process payments and reservations accurately.
• Manage stock and in-store merchandising.
• Support opening/shutdown procedures.
• Full training provided; previous experience not essential.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stockroom Assistant to join our store in Oxford.

Candidates must be available Wed-Sat.

Hourly rates will match or exceed the national minimum wage for your age.

About what you’ll be doing

• Processing new deliveries and ensuring our exciting new product is available for customers
• Maintaining the highest standards possible in the stockroom
• Dispatching customer orders from store and managing in store click and collect items
• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets
• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible, greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge
• Processing payments, customer orders and reservations
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising
• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures
• Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
