Job summary

schuh in Metrocentre is hiring a Stockroom Assistant to join our store team. You’ll process deliveries, keep the stockroom tidy, dispatch orders, handle click-and-collect, and help customers with product knowledge.

The role supports opening/shutdown procedures and contributes to KPIs with flexible weekday/weekend shifts. Full training will be provided and previous retail experience is welcome but not required.

• Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/or retail experience would be preferable.

• Maintaining the highest standards possible in the stockroom
• Dispatching customer orders from store and managing in store click and collect items
• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets
• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible, greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge
• Processing payments, customer orders and reservations
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising
• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stockroom Assistant to join our store in Metrocentre.

The candidate must be fully flexible on week days and weekends.

Hourly rates will match or exceed the national minimum wage for your age.
