Job summary

Workforce Staffing in Redditch is hiring Stock Take Operatives for AM and PM shifts. You will carry out daily stock takes using a designated app, record quantities in kilograms, and check inventory accuracy in a chilled environment.

No previous stock control experience is required as full training is provided. You will support stock rotation, monitor use-by dates, and help prepare production lines for a smooth shift workflow, with 3–4 hours of stock-taking per day.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a handheld app or device.
• Organised and able to work independently.
• Reliable and punctual; previous stock control is beneficial but not essential.
• Comfortable working in chilled temperatures of 6-8°C and freezer environments.

Responsibilities

WE'RE HIRING! STOCK TAKE OPERATIVES - AM & PM SHIFTS

Workforce Staffing is looking for reliable and organised Stock Take Operatives to join our team in Redditch!

Both morning and afternoon shifts are available, with full training provided on the morning shift. No previous stock control experience is essential!

THE ROLE - WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Carrying out daily stock takes using a designated app.
• Recording stock quantities and weights accurately in kilograms.
• Checking stock levels and ensuring inventory records are accurate.
• Monitoring use-by dates and identifying expired products.
• Supporting stock rotation, ensuring older stock is used before newer stock.
• Alerting the production team if newer stock is being used while older stock remains available.
• Assisting with preparation duties and keeping chilled storage areas clean and tidy.
• Completing stock takes for approximately 3-4 hours per day, alongside supporting stock rotation and ensuring the correct stock is used on production lines.
