Job summary

Damart is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the Logistics Team. The role involves managing stock inventory via warehouse data systems, working independently and in a team, and aiming to gain a forklift licence. Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 08:30–16:30, with holiday cover as needed.

This temporary position lasts up to 6 months, with potential extension. You will support stock accuracy, procedures, and health and safety compliance within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement stock management procedures with the team.
• Maximise stock accuracy through system checks and stock reconciliation.
• Collaborate with peers and investigate stock inaccuracies.
• Support the stock manager on sub-projects to maintain stock files.
• Ensure Health and Safety policies are followed.
• Flexibly learn and work in other areas of the warehouse.
