Job summary

auto-scan UK Ltd is seeking a proactive Material Controller in Crewe, within a luxury automotive manufacturing environment. You will own stock control across inbound and outbound operations, ensuring materials move efficiently to support production.

You’ll allocate NOK stock to inspection locations, support inventory management, and participate in stock reporting with SQA teams. Experience in manufacturing, supervisory exposure, and SAP knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must have previous stock control experience in manufacturing or logistics.
• Experience with Goods in/out stock control.
• Some supervisory or team-leading exposure is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative.
• Knowledge of SAP is essential.

Responsibilities

• Own stock control across inbound and outbound operations to support production.
• Allocate NOK stock to inspection locations to ensure accurate inventory.Maintain clear communication across departments.
• Contribute to regular stock control reporting meetings with SQA teams.
• Identify issues and drive continuous improvement within the operation.
